COVID-19 for Youth: Maintaining Mental Health

Social distancing won’t keep us from supporting the next generation of men. We’re offering Next Gen Men as an online program experience for boys in grade 7/8.

By Jonathon Reed

It goes without saying that this is a stressful time. Most of us are keeping an eye on the ever-present news cycle, and all of us are dealing with uncertainty about what the future will look like. Young people are coping with this just as much as adults, and they’re doing it without many of their regular support systems. Maintaining mental health can be more challenging while out of school or isolated from their friends.

This survival guide about mental health is the final piece in our COVID-19 toolkit for youth. We kept up the quirky humour and made sure to include resources that could make a difference for a young person in need. Hope it helps.
